Aubade is the ultimate Parisian luxury lingerie brand. For more than 60 years, we have been striving to help women to feel beautiful and not be afraid to show their personality and sensuality. Drawing on our unparalleled corsetry know-how, we offer modern-day women lingerie with flawless cuts and fits, which wears well. Aware of the challenges that lie ahead, the brand has decided to take its action to the next level, adopting a CSR approach based on two key elements: reducing our environmental impact and fighting for societal causes.
For more than 60 years, our lingerie sets have been designed to last for much longer than just one season. Quality is one of the brand’s founding values. At Aubade, we cultivate excellence à la française, attaching great importance to defending and showcasing the artisans we work alongside. Calais lace workers and European embroiderers are the heirs of long-established corsetry know-how. Their unique expertise allows them to make the delicate pieces created by our Parisian design department even more beautiful. We are extremely careful about the materials we use, selecting only those which are OEKO-TEX® certified. Our brand has built its reputation on Calais Leavers lace, chicken scratch embroidery, floaty tulle and high-quality details. We verify their origin, work with ethical suppliers and do not use materials derived from animals.
Since 2019, we have set ourselves an ambitious objective: 0% destruction. In order to reduce our environmental impact, we have introduced a range of sustainable solutions.We promote upcycling and reusing our prototypes and offcuts. Unused lace and fabrics are donated to fashion schools and unsold products to charities: Sidaction, Restos du Cœur, Arcade, Les Amis du Bercail. Our PEFC- and FSC-certified packaging is made from wood fibres from sustainably-managed forests. Our products are shipped in boxes made from 80 to 100% recycled paper.
Aubade has made combating discrimination a key part of its Human Resources management policy. We have signed a diversity charter, demonstrating our commitment to cultural, ethical and social pluralism in the company.
Aubade is a brand made up of women, designed to help women. Investing in women’s health was therefore an obvious choice. We are engaged in the fight against breast cancer.
55,000 new cases are diagnosed each year in France. 1 in every 8 women will suffer from breast cancer during their lifetime. Aubade supports the charity Ruban Rose which raises awareness about the importance of early screening and helps fund research.
To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we were fully mobilised. The brand organised a campaign around prevention to encourage women to organise regular check-ups with their doctor. A team from Aubade Paris also took part in the Odysséa solidarity walk. Finally, we donated 10% of revenue from three of our lingerie lines to Ruban Rose.
